I am a registered Remedial Sports Massage Therapist qualified at the London School of Sports Massage, following a long career as a professional Musical Theatre performer in Sweden and the London West End. This therapy is also known as Soft Tissue Therapy highlighting results in improving muscle condition, joint stability, range of movement, posture and therapeutic benefits.
My other skills include Manual Lymphatic Drainage (Dr Vodder Method). This is a gentle, non- invasive manual technique that has a powerful effect on the body.
Developed in France in 1932 by Emil Vodder, MLD has grown to be the most well known manual technique to assist lymph flow and drainage of the tissues.
In 2024 I qualified in Lymphoedema Management. I am authorised to treat patients living with primary and secondary oedemas. This includes preparing patients for surgery and also providing post surgery MLD treatments following lymphoedema /lipoedema diagnosis, cancer, orthopedic and vascular surgeries.
